When we visited, we had to wait a bit to get a table because part of the terrace was reserved for a corporate event. It’s something to keep in mind, especially during busy hours or weekends, but the wait was worth it.
Went here after a long day in NYC to relax. The atmosphere was amazing, the drinks were great. And i could unwind with a gorgeous view and enjoy the night with my boyfriend. Whether a tourist or local I absolutely recommend for a casual night for a few drinks and friendly atmosphere!!! So fun!!

This is one of my absolute favorite places to go in Manhattan. This penthouse rooftop bar lounge and restaurant has the best of everything! Including incredible skyscrapers and skyline views all around you . The Vibr is insane and the music , drinks and atmosphere and people and let’s not forget the impeccable dining and service always makes me wanna not leave. Good thing it’s right smack in the City that never sleeps cause wow you’ll be there till the morning sunrise! 🤩 you gotta come see for yourself !

They have a wide variety of food and drinks — my favorite is their frozen cocktails, especially on a warm day. The vibe is amazing whether you come in the evening to catch the sunset or at night for the city lights. Perfect spot to chill with friends or bring out-of-town guests!
This was one of my favorite stops on our trip! We visited in November, so it was pretty chilly—but the reservable igloos made it cozy and fun. The bartender was super sweet, and our drinks were delicious! Since it was my birthday, I had to celebrate with a birthday shot 😉

Was very good and not too crowded as we came here by 5.30pm. After 7pm there is a long queue to get up - might wait up to 30 mins. for entry.
You can pick seats per availability and I would recommend to get one at the railing in the middle to have a good view at the Empire State Building!

We had a great time at 230 Fifth Rooftop! The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, even though by 7:30 PM it was packed and finding a seat was a bit tricky. Still, the spacious layout helped keep things flowing. Go there right before sunset for an unforgettable moment above New York City. Beer prices were reasonable, the music selection was on point, and the crowd brought great energy in a very positive vibes soaked evening! The highlight is an absolutely stunning view of the Empire State Building from up close, pure NYC magic. The open-air setting added a touch of charm to the whole experience. We had a pizza slice that was not outstanding but the smell of food was overall amazing. I definitely recommend for an unforgettable rooftop aperitivo with a view! Can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely loved this place! The view was incredible, and we got the full-on winter experience—it was FREEZING! ❄️ Luckily, they created a cozy space with heaters to help us warm up. The bartender was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Definitely a must-visit (just bundle up!)

After a day packed with adventure, my partner and I decided to unwind at an incredible rooftop bar, and I’m so glad we made that choice. We arrived just in time for their happy hour, treating ourselves to some delightful drinks and snacks. The crowd was fantastic, and although it took some time to find a seat because the place was buzzing, the vibrant atmosphere made it all worthwhile. I’d absolutely return!
Hidden gem honestly. Expected it to be a bit touristy, but had a great view of the Empire State building, great DJs for ambiance, reasonably priced drinks, and decent food. Would return.

Sucht euch einen freien Platz, Getränke und Essen müsst ihr an der Theke selbst bestellen. Wir haben für 2 Getränke 17 Dollar bezahlt, für NY nicht zu teuer. Stilles Wasser gibt es kostenlos, steht im Durchgang mit Bechern. Am frühen Nachmittag findet man in der Woche immer einen Platz. Gegen 18 Uhr wird es voller. Toiletten würde ich am Fahrstuhl nutzen, nicht die gleich oben sind. Wir haben eine Portion Nachos bestellt, der zum Teilen angeboten wird. Es war mega lecker und wir waren sowas von satt. Die Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft, und schaut euch die ganze Terrasse an, es lohnt sich. Wer rauchen möchte geht beim reinkommen auf die linke Seite. Am Ende der Terrasse gibt es einen kleinen Raucher Bereich. Ein Must Do wenn man in NY ist.

You don't need a reservation, the bar opens at 2 p.m. during the week. Find a free seat, you have to order drinks and food yourself at the counter. We paid $17 for 2 drinks, not too expensive for NY. Still water is available free of charge and is available in cups in the passage. You can always find a place in the early afternoon during the week. It gets more crowded around 6 p.m. I would use the toilets at the elevator, not the ones right at the top. We ordered a portion of nachos, which was offered to share. It was super tasty and we were so full. The view is simply amazing, and look at the whole terrace, it's worth it. If you want to smoke, go to the left side when you come in. At the end of the terrace there is a small smoking area. A must do if you are in NY.

However, be prepared for crowds, especially during peak hours, and prices that match the upscale atmosphere. I think I will be visiting it any time that I visit New York. We arrived early and it was easy to enter but when we leave the place in the evening, there was a very long line along the sidewalk to enter, so I recommend that you go early if you want to avoid the waiting and the line. We tried a pizza and I liked the crust thin and wood-fire-oven cooked style. Overall, it's a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable rooftop experience in the heart of New York City.

This is a great rooftop bar that will be one of my top memories from NYC. There are igloos on the roof to keep warm and bright red bathrobes for extra warmth. There is also a great view of the empire state building. We went on a Saturday night, entry was free before 8pm and the drinks are reasonable prices.

One of the best rooftop nightclubs in NYC. 2 levels with a dance floor on the lower level and the rooftop bar on the upper level with an awesome view of the Empire State Building. They have igloos for the cold night and lots of patio heaters. The drinks were well made and typical NYC pricing. Been there twice and hope to be back again whenever I come back to Manhattan.

So much fun! It was a chilly eve and it rained by the end of the night so we were really glad to have gotten an igloo. Most igloos were beautiful on the inside but were reserved. We never saw anyone go into the fancy ones that were reserved but we weren’t there all night, so I suppose they could have filled up later. The one that was available was less fancy-dinner vibe and more of a hanging out on a deck or by a fire sort of vibe. The food and drinks were SO good though!!! Happy Hour is an excellent deal! The chicken strips, tacos, hummus, and smores in a cup with churros were all delicious and had great portion sizes. The pina colada in a bag was yum and fun! And there are lots of cute photo ops!

The view from the rooftop is awesome!! It’s incredibly nice view and chill especially in summer. The price is kind of flexible with good atmosphere. The entrance fees usually costs you 20$ with complementary drinks which is not really bad. Overall, worth it for once in a while.

The most amazing place to unwind high in the sky surrounded by New York's skyscrapers. This is a MUST DO! Loved having a few snacks and drinks with friends surrounded by the lights at night with the busy city hustle down below. Such a vibe! Seriously my fav place!

Incredible place and I would say a highly recommended stop when you are in the city. It has a very nice and super decorated atmosphere. To be able to sit in the igloos they ask for a minimum drink of $50. The drinks are very good, the food is pretty standard but the vibe of the place in front of the Empire State makes it all better. Well I’ve [been] writing about the bad experiences in New York and I need to talk about the good things we did. And this rooftop is definitely one of them. They welcomed us so good, we could eat good food, a lot of choices on the menu, the price is not so expensive, everyone is welcome and can spend their time as they want (drinking, playing, eating…) and the view is wonderful. 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar has expansive floor space with an open air bar on the roof. The indoor restaurant has a good amount of seating that includes a bar and DJ. I visited for Thanksgiving dinner which was a large selection buffet that you could use as much as you wanted. The rooftop bar has a brilliant view of Empire State Building with ample seating and a bar. Blankets are offered but, heaters would be ideal in the winter.
Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator to the restaurant and signs suggesting wheelchair access to the rooftop if you ask a member of staff.
It is a very suggestive place. Magical atmosphere surrounded by a wonderful skyline... especially at sunset and in the evening.
Fantastic sky bar. Drinks were amazing. Ok prices. THE VIEW IS AMAZING. There are heating lamps and blankets to cover with in case of cold weather. The best part is that you sit wherever you want, and the place isn't posh at all. We didn't have any reservations but it was easy to find a table. Definitely we will go back there.

It was a beautiful day. Warm and sunny with spectacular views. I was impressed by how inexpensive happy hour is here. Looking at the prices for other things it seems like happy hour is the time to go! We loaded up on food and drinks before happy hour ended and we just enjoyed each others company. The frozen margaritas (flavor additions optional) were wonderful and the burger was $10 and amazing too. Not the best burger I’ve had, but for $10 with an amazing view on the edge of midtown, what more could you want!? (Also, I’m not sure why but, I loved the little rubber duckies floating in our drinks!)

One of the most beautiful views of NYC. It’s easy to get here, since the building is a few steps from the subway station. For the fall time, they offer you blankets to stay warm, wile you enjoy your meal and drinks. They also have nice spots to take pictures. You will se some photographers walking around taking pictures that you can buy later (I got mine for $20). It’s not a cheap place, but it’s a nice place to go. Brunch time there is also amazing.
We rushed for happy hour (M-F @4-5pm). Note: their system has a strict cutoff for the prices, but where else can you find $9 cocktails! We didn't have any issues with seating during this time. They had heaters spread throughout and offered blankets. The lower level had amazing views by the window as well
This rooftop bar was awesome! It was pretty packed for a Wednesday night. There was a beautiful view of the Empire State Building. As we all know, it can get chilly in New York but they had heaters near all of the tables which made it bearable. The drinks took a little while as there was a line as expected. The bartender was very friendly and listened to all of our requests, even as a big group. This bar has 2 levels. One on the 20th floor and one on the 21st floor. Both were exceptional.

We had the prix fixe dinner visiting for our son and his girlfriend. We were escorted upstairs ahead of the throngs of Santa Con folks waiting in line.
The atmosphere was excellent. Great music and cool vibe. Our waiter was great. I had a pumpkin martini. My wife and the young one had jalapeno Margaritas. Our igloo was cozy. I had low expectations for the food, but everyone enjoyed their meals. Ordered my steak rare, and it was warm, juicy and tasty. We will return!
Note that the igloo is acoustically loud. Not great for those hard of hearing. But for us it felt "happening." My son and his girlfriend loved it. Highlight if our big holiday outing Sat.
By far the best rooftop in the city. Gives you perfect views of midtown Manhattan and the line moved very quickly even though it was way down the block when we arrived. We waited no more than 15 minutes to get in. Their drinks are strong which makes it worth the money and their frozen ones come in cute bags with a rubber duck on top.
I have to admit - I'm not really into super trendy places, but I had a great time at 230. It was a Sunday afternoon (Pride day) so it wasn't too packed at all (which I prefer). It was probably because it was next to impossible to get to 5th Ave due to the parade.
Regardless - I was able to attend my friend's birthday and we all had a blast!!
The service and staff were fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
During our girls’ trip to NY, we visited 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar, and it was absolutely amazing! The music was on point, the pizza slices were delicious, and the view was breathtaking. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place for a memorable rooftop experience in the city.
This place has great views and reasonable prices considering the vibes. We got there around 11 on Saturday, but we did not have reservations. The hostess had a last minute cancellation, and she got us seated really quickly. Our server was wonderful and gave us fantastic recommendations for our trip in the city.
This place is fire. Great views. Great food. Great vibes. I took my wife there for a birthday brunch and it was so nice that we decided to come back to party at night. This is my favorite bar I have ever been to! We happened to stumble upon it just by walking by, and to our surprise, it was like nothing we had experienced before. We went during late April and were given red blanket/jackets upon arrival to stay warm! I thought this is so fun and unique. They do offer mock tails which I thought was awesome as someone who is not a drinker! The views from the rooftop will not disappoint. The staff is extremely friendly and chatty!
"We had a great event. The space was perfect for us and I think everyone really enjoyed themselves. Michael, our banquet manager for the night was super attentive and I told him how much I appreciated that. We usually go to events like this and get forgotten but he made sure we had what we needed. The food was also excellent. Not sure when we will be back in the city but will be keeping 230 Fifth at the top of our list. Love this place for brunch! Went with my closest friends and loved the amazing service, views of nyc and atmosphere. We decided to get the brunch bottle service which for $45 per person you get a main dish and two bottles of champagne (we were a table of 4)
It is the first time I have come to this place and it is highly recommended to spend time with the family when you are getting to know the city.

Came here after dinner Memorial weekend and it was pretty packed. Rooftop was a huge mix of tourists but really nice. The lower level is where the party was & the DJ had things lit! Service and drinks were good.
Love this place! Excellent service with great food and drinks. The view from the rooftop is awesome. Right next to the Empire State Building, which was all lit up. Recommend highly!

Amazing place amazing vibes and breathtaking views of New York City. The frozen margaritas are by far my favorite on the venue. The staff are very friendly and what can I say about the music. The DJs are very good. This is a place where one gets their money’s worth. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting NYC pr to anyone needing to celebrate that special occasion.

Best rooftop in NYC. The vibe of this place is something else. Everytime I go there I have the best time. Food and their cocktails 10/10 . Must visit while in NYC to enjoy the drinks with the best view of Empire State Building.
A great evening at this excellent location with iconic Big Apple backdrop. Drinks are not cheap but their reputation and location can clearly command this. Would definitely return for the atmosphere and friendly staff. Well worth a visit without question.

Our visit to 230 Fifth on Thursday at around 5 pm was fantastic. The place wasn’t crowded, which created a very relaxed atmosphere. There was a cold water dispenser available at all times, and the self-service system at the ‘bar’—partially closed behind windows—was fast and efficient.
The frozen margaritas in a bag with a duck on top were not only delicious, refreshing, and strong, but also very Instagrammable. The venue was filled with plants and had numerous cute spots for photos, enhancing the already amazing views.
The security staff downstairs was also very friendly. Overall, I highly recommend 230 Fifth for its chill vibe, efficient service, and NYC views.

Amazing place. They hosted a watch party for House of the Dragon S2 finale. Great service. Amazing food and drinks. Recommending 10/10. One of my favorite rooftops in NYC. We’ll be back soon!
This rooftop bar is just amazing. I went there with a group of friends and we had so much fun. The prices for the drinks are absolutely fine, the taste was awesome and they looked pretty fancy. About the view I don’t have much to say, it’s just breathtaking. So I can definitely recommend it!
Went for brunch on our first day in NYC and couldn't have picked a better spot. The roof terrace is beautiful, all USA themed with loads of selfie spots. Perfect views of the Empire State building and skyline. Under 21s are welcome during the day. There were loads of families and people celebrating. Feels very safe even though you're so high up. Food was good and service was warm and attentive. Really good value for brunch and drinks. Highly recommend this place, we loved it.
I recently visited 230 Fifth Rooftop with my baby, and we had a fantastic experience! The views were absolutely stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing afternoon. Despite being a lively spot, the atmosphere during the day was surprisingly laid-back, making it easy to enjoy the surroundings with my little one. The staff was accommodating, and navigating with a stroller was hassle-free thanks to the elevator access. It's great to find a rooftop that's both family-friendly and offers such an incredible NYC experience. l'll definitely be returning!

This rooftop is seriously the cutest. It has amazing views of the city, fun photo ops and seriously cute drinks. The pouch frozen drink with a duck is always a must for me when I visit NY! We grabbed a slice of pizza when we were there and thought it was really good.
This was a brunch for the books!!!! The Empire State Building greets you as you find your way to the hostess, pure magic from the moment I arrived!! Food was fabulous and Alex our server was THE best!! We will be back
