About Us

230 Fifth is the largest rooftop bar in New York City with 33000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor space. Established in 2006, it has become a stable of the Flatiron/NoMad area. Open all year long, guests will surely enjoy the fun decor and specialty cocktails that are designed and crafted seasonally. It is known for its frozen drinks in the summer and hot cocktails in the winter. It also boasts the iconic heated igloos and the signature red Snuggies in the winter.

230 Fifth is the perfect place for any party or event. With private rooms available and its top-notch service, catering, and amenities, private events like birthday parties, bachelor parties, corporate events, and more will surely be memorable. If you are looking for a laid-back dinner date or night out, to enjoy lounge vibes outdoors or live DJs indoors, 230 Fifth is also the place to go. It has an open door policy where walk-ins are more than welcome. There are open/self-service & reserved seating areas to accommodate everyone, even in large groups. It is also a family-friendly location (with the exception of Fri & Sat after 7pm) where everyone can enjoy the amazing views and non-pretentious vibes.

Monday – Thursday: 4pm-12am
Friday: 4pm-3am
Saturday: 11:30am-4am
Sunday: 11:30am-12am

Happy Hour: 4pm-5pm (Mon-Fri)

Brunch: 11:30am-4pm (Sat-Sun)

Door closes at midnight on Sun-Thu, 3am on Friday and 4am on Saturday

Kitchen closes at 10pm on Sun-Thu and 11:00pm on Fri-Sat

Walk-ins are not only welcome, they are encouraged! Walk-ins are welcome with no minimums. Groups of 2 are encouraged to walk in unless it’s for brunch.

We accept reservations for certain time slots. If you do not see an available option, this does NOT mean we are full. We accept walk-ins.

Reservations are accepted with a required minimum spend. Reservations are good for 2.5 hours, including a 15-minute grace period.

Food and drinks are prohibited to be brought into the venue. This includes water bottles.

Smoking and e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere within the building, only in designated smoking areas.

Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and tripods are not allowed to be brought in.

All guests must have a proper ID.

All guests under 21 must be accompanied by their parent.

No weapons including, but not limited to, knives, guns, tasers, pepper spray. These are not allowed to be brought in and held on to by our staff.

Service animals are welcome. Pets are not permitted.

All visitors and staff at the venue may be photographed and videotaped with sound. By attending, you grant us permission to publish photographs and videos for use in print, online and video based marketing materials, social media, as well as company publications.

Are minors welcome?

  • They are welcome anytime with their parent, with the exception of Friday and Saturday after 7pm.

Can I bring balloons?

  • Yes, you can bring balloons.

Can I bring a cake or other outside food or drinks?

  • Only cakes are permitted, and there is a $40 charge. All other outside food and beverages will be forfeited at the door.

Are you open if it rains?

  • Our rooftop has an indoor area on the floor below the outdoor rooftop and is open.
    Our outdoor area have igloos , gondolas, heaters as well as our signature red Snuggies.

Is the rooftop heated?

  • We have heaters in many areas as well as heated igloos.

Vaccine is NOT required to enter.

We allow children of all ages as long as they are accompanied by THEIR parent. No exceptions.

With the exception of Friday and Saturday after 7pm.

$15 Cover Charge (Friday & Saturday) begins at 8pm.

If you are visiting from outside of the United States, you must have a passport or a government-issued ID from your country.

(No employee IDs or student IDs. Only government-issued IDs will be accepted.)

We don’t offer parking.

We have DJs on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. As well as Sunday brunch.
